Accept is headed by its Director, Harriet Grace, who has spent her entire working career in the events space. Harriet is, first and foremost, a manager of people. All of her event processes are founded in creating environments where she and the people around her can operate at their best.

Harriet is always committed to creating those awesome shared experiences that people love. It’s pretty hard to stress her out (though many have tried!) and she thrives on those moments that see a team coming together, whether they’ve worked together for months or hours.

Harriet is also proud to be part of the team at the Network of Women In Events.

Supporting Harriet is Event Manager Holly Gillanders. Holly shares Harriet’s focus on taking great care over the often-invisible aspects of an event that take the very visible parts from being good to great.

Holly has spent 2 decades in the event industry, working in artist liaison, producing and project management roles. In that time, her experience has encompassed BAFTA, The Olivier awards, the Burns an’ a’ That festival and much more. She has been a key part of the Accept team since the start and in 2022, took on an additional responsibility to work with Harriet across whole event planning.

The Accept team is bolstered by a team of truly brilliant freelancers who bring a wide range of experience and who are engaged for events subject to project requirements. You can meet a few of them here:

Abi Rhodes

Abi has worked on an array of projects from vibrant festivals and seasonal activations to prestigious corporate gatherings, always thriving on the pulse of live events. Most recently she has been Rides and Entertainment Executive for a captivating Winter Wonderland spectacle in the heart of the Middle East.

“Having collaborated with Harriet for a couple of years, I can confidently say that working with Accept Management is consistently fantastic. The on site team comprises exceptional individuals and Harriet’s unwavering dedication truly shines through in every project, evident in the smiles on guests’ faces”

Jen Davey

Jen has worked freelance in theatre stage management for over fifteen years after graduating from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. With a particular love for new writing, she has worked at venues across the UK, most recently at the Royal Shakespeare Company as a Deputy Stage Manager.

“Accept Management are wonderful to work with because not only do you get to be a part of exciting, diverse events but also with a very talented group of properly lovely humans. Harriet knows how to get the best out of people which really reflects in the work we do when helping her to deliver events.”

Dannika Glaister

Dannika has been working in events since graduating in 2018, most recently working full time as an events Officer at Newcastle University but taking on additional work when possible.

”I love working for Accept Management because no two days are the same. One minute you can be helping some stilt-walking flowers cross a roundabout, then the next you’re taking photos with some royal guards! Harriet is an incredible leader, full of knowledge and compassion. It is a privilege to watch and learn from the best in the business year on year.”
